1	Pass out grocery bags with lists on needed items attached to the bag. Pass out the bags on Sunday morning after worship and ask that they be returned full the next Sunday.
2	Have someone from the Food Bank Network come and speak at worship or at other meetings of the congregation.
3	Get permission from a grocery store to set up a table and pass out flyers asking people to buy something extra when they shop. Then collect the items as the people leave the store.
4	Put an empty grocery cart at the entrance of the Church to remind people of the need to donate food.
5	Ask a skilled man or woman from the congregation to make something for a drawing prize (a quilt, wood craft item or other item). Then sell 500 tickets at a price of one food item per ticket or for cash. When all tickets are sold hold the drawing.
6	Purchase inexpensive items for prizes and announce a food drive competition within each Sunday School classroom. The one in each classroom who brings the most food items wins.
7	Partner with a local radio station, a business establishment and Associated Churches to run a community wide food drive.
8	Teach the support of the Food Bank Network as an act of Stewardship.
9	Partner with a movie theater for a Food Bank Day when tickets are discounted in exchange for a food item donation.
10	Either purchase or have donated a suitable item for a Dutch Auction. Bidding is in food items.
