Is your congregation doing Outreach and Evangelism projects?...
...Could you use some help financing these projects? The Northeast Conference is offering grants, up to $1200 in matching funds per congregation per year, to Northeast Conference congregations. The funds for the grant are the result of a gift from Lutheran Church of Our Savior when it closed, plus yearly contributions from the Northeast Conference Congregations as part of their benevolence to the conference.
Please submit completed applications to the Conference Outreach and Evangelism Team (CO-ET), c/o Pr Debra Meuter, Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1505 Bethany Lane, Fort Wayne, IN 46825. Applications are being accepted now with a September 1, 2012, filing deadline. Awards will be announced as soon as possible. All grants are to be equally matched by the applicant. Last year's grant recipients are reminded that a Grant Evaluation needs to be submitted. Please note: The CO-ET will not consider a 2012 grant application from a congregation until a 2011 Grant Award Evaluation has been received and approved.
